① 群動詞の受動態（laugh at, look after, take care of など）

He was laughed at by everyone.
　彼はみんなに笑われました。
The baby is looked after by his grandmother.
　その赤ちゃんはおばあちゃんに世話をされています。
This problem was dealt with yesterday.
　この問題は昨日対処されました。
She is taken care of by her parents.
　彼女は両親に面倒を見てもらっています。
The accident was talked about on TV.
　その事故はテレビで話題にされました。

② by以外の前置詞を使った受動態

He is known to everyone in the town.
　彼は町のみんなに知られています。
This book is written in simple English.
　この本はやさしい英語で書かれています。
That island is surrounded by the sea.
　その島は海に囲まれています。
The mountain is covered with snow in winter.
　その山は冬には雪で覆われます。
The news was reported on the radio.
　そのニュースはラジオで報じられました。

👉 ポイント

群動詞は 動詞＋前置詞（副詞） をひとかたまりで受動態にする。
例：laugh at → be laughed at
「by」以外の前置詞を残して受動態にするケースも多い。
例：be known to, be covered with, be filled with など。
