はじめに
650〜700帯では、数字の取りこぼしが致命傷になりがちです。
今日は「時刻/金額/部屋番号/内線」を同時に扱う耳づくりを行います。コツは「合図→直前語→本体」の3段取りと、teen/ty（15/50）・小数の即判定です。
1) 数字の聞き方“3段取り”
- 合図語を先に待つ：at/by/until（時刻）／costs/price/fee（金額）／in Room/at Gate（部屋/ゲート）／extension（内線）
- 直前語で身構える：starts at／leaves at／total／discount／extension
- 本体だけ取る：3 p.m.／$15.50／Room B-12／ext. 204
ポイント：文章全体を追わず、「合図→直前語→数字本体」の順に耳を絞る。
2) つまずきトップ3と即処方
- teen/ty（15/50・16/60…）
処方：強勢と語尾で判定（fifTEEN長／FIFty短）。対で練習。 - 小数・省略（$12.50→twelve fifty）
処方：ドル省略を受け入れる。$7.05→seven oh five。.99の頻出に慣れる。 - 文字＋数字（Room C-4／Gate B12／ext. 204）
処方：先にカテゴリー語（Room/Gate/ext.）をアンカー化。文字を強く、数字は区切って言う。
3) 同時処理の優先順位（被害最小ルール）
- 優先1：単発時刻 or 単発部屋（設問と一致する方を“死守”）
- 優先2：金額（fee/discount/total）—合計や割引は“表の該当列”があれば暗算しない
- 優先3：内線（extension）—桁と“2/0/4”などの聞き分け
同時に複数が来たら、設問に合わせて1→2→3の順で回収。
4) 言い換え・周辺語（拾えたら有利）
- 時刻：at three / at half past three / at a quarter to three（2:45）
- 金額：costs / is priced at / fee / charge / total / after discount / plus tax
- 部屋・場所：in Room B / at Gate 12 / Conference Room C / on the second floor
- 内線：extension / at two-oh-four / dial 204
5) ミニ例題：Part4放送＋数字多発

解き方
- 合図：begins at → a quarter to three = 2:45
- 合図：fee is → twelve fifty = $12.50（after discount＝最終額）
- 合図：in Conference Room B／check in at the reception desk（設問が“Where is it held?”ならRoom B。“Where should they go first?”ならreception desk）
6) 図表連動×数字（暗算を避ける）
- 先読みで“列名と単位”確認（Time／Fee／Discount／Total）
- 更新語（now/changed to/instead）や“after discount/plus tax”があれば、表の最終列で確認。なければ方向（加算/減算）だけ把握し、具体額は問われたときだけ処理。
7) teen/ty・小数の即断ドリル（30秒×2本）
- teen/tyコール：15/50, 16/60, 18/80…を交互に3周（強勢コントラスト）
- 小数・省略：$7.05（seven oh five）、$12.50（twelve fifty）、$7.99（seven ninety-nine）を3周
8) 10〜12分メニュー（毎日OK）
- 分1 合図コール：at/by/until／costs/fee/total／Room/Gate／extension
- 分2〜4 数字だけシャドーイング：音源1本で数字が来た瞬間だけ声に出す（3 p.m.!／B-12!／twelve fifty!）
- 分4〜7 ディクテーション：短文×3（数字のみ書く）
例）“It starts at a quarter past three.” → 3:15
“Please go to Room C-4.” → C-4
“The total is seven oh five.” → $7.05 - 分7〜10 本番3問（time/price/room混合）→根拠語に下線（begins at / fee / in Room）

10) ありがちミスと修正
- teen/tyが崩れる → 強勢練→短文化（FIFty短／fifTEEN長）。文脈で“単発数字”優先回収
- 文字＋数字が曖昧 → 先にカテゴリー語でアンカー（Room/Gate/ext.）→文字を強く
- 割引で暗算迷子 → “after discount/total”列の有無を先に見る。なければ方向だけ把握
- 同時多発でパニック → 優先順位（時刻/部屋→金額→内線）を設問に合わせて固定
11) KPI（数値で前進を可視化）
- 単発数字回収：8/10→9/10へ
- teen/ty誤判定：週2→0〜1へ
- 本番設問で“数字根拠に下線”できた割合：80→90％
12) 今日のチェックリスト
- 合図→直前語→本体の順で聞けたか？
- teen/tyを強勢で判定できたか？
- 小数・省略（twelve fifty／seven oh five）に即反応できたか？

13) 宿題（5〜10分）
- 今日の音源から“数字を含む3文”を抜き出し、数字だけ3回口で再現
- 自作カード10枚（表：合図語／裏：数字本体）例：表“begins at”→裏“2:45 (quarter to three)”
- 明日、同じ音源で「数字だけシャドーイング→ディクテ3文→本番3問」の同プロトコルを再現
まとめ
数字2.0の鍵は「合図→直前語→本体」と“優先順位”。teen/ty・小数・文字＋数字に慣れ、設問に合わせて単発を死守すれば、Part3/4の取りこぼしは激減します。
