はじめに
Part7で正解を落とす最大の理由が「本文と設問・選択肢の言い換え」です。単語帳で全部覚える必要はありません。コツは“動詞のコア意味”を中心に、よく出る類語を小さなネットワークで覚えること。
今日は、初級者でも使える作り方と解き方をまとめます。

1) なぜ“動詞コア”なのか

文の意味は「誰が（主語）何をする（動詞）」で決まる
名詞や形容詞の言い換えは、動詞のコアが分かると当てやすい
ネットワークは小さく深く：1コア＝類語3〜5個で十分

2) コア別・頻出ネットワーク（まずはここから）

A. ask（依頼・求める）

ask = request = call for = require（規則文脈）= urge（強め）
例：ask for a refund / request assistance / employees are required to wear badges

B. change（変更する）
change = modify = adjust = revise = update = reschedule（予定）
例：update the schedule / revise the plan / reschedule the meeting

C. send（送る・共有する）
send = forward = submit（提出）= provide（提供）= share（共有）
例：submit an application / forward the file / provide details

D. buy（購入する）
buy = purchase = place an order = order
例：place an order for supplies / purchase online

E. delay（遅らせる）
delay = postpone = push back = reschedule for later
例：The event was postponed due to weather.

F. confirm（確認する）
confirm = verify = check = make sure
例：Please confirm your attendance.

G. allow（許可する）
allow = permit = let（口語）
例：The coupon allows customers to get a discount.

H. reduce（減らす）
reduce = lower = cut = decrease
例：reduce costs / lower prices

I. increase（増やす）
increase = raise = boost = go up（自動）
例：increase capacity / raise fees

3) 名詞・形容詞の“受け皿”もセットで

refund = reimbursement（払い戻し）
discount = price reduction / money off
attendee = participant（参加者）
venue = location / site（会場）
available = in stock / ready / open（利用可）
unavailable = not offered / not available（利用不可）

4) 設問での見破り方（5ステップ）

ステップ1 設問の動詞を丸（ask/change/send…）
ステップ2 本文で“同義ネットワーク”を探す（revise=change等）
ステップ3 数字・日付・場所など確証情報も一緒に線
ステップ4 選択肢の極端語（only, always）・未言及を除外
ステップ5 迷ったら“動詞のコア”に戻って一致を確認

Weekend Workshop — “Better Business Writing”
